Island time.
Bus tour took us to where our Aussie soldiers fought to save our country.
Horn was the last defence post protecting the mainland from the Japanese.
Liberty, our tour guide (from Thursday Island) & his wife Vanessa (originally from Brisbane) have put their own money into setting up a wonderful museum to pay tribute to the Diggers. Vanessa has received an OBE for her work & research & well deserved.
